Construction

Our poor little David was hardly able to nap at all yesterday because we are having a new roof put on. The men on the roof were so loud, making the house shake and totally freaking out Sammy. David was pretty good through all of it, except when he needed to nap. He would sleep very breifly before a loud bang would wake him. He was so scared when he woke up - its not fun being awoke by a frightening noise. It wasn't a real problem until night when it was past David's bed time, and they were still up there making noise. David was crying, and his eyes were red and puffy from lack of sleep during the day. I would have walked out there to ask them to stop early (like 8:00), except stuff was falling down both sides of the house. They were finally finished a little after 8:30, and David was able to go to sleep. And sleep he did - 8 hours straight! Of course that got us up at 4:30, but David did go to bed again after I fed him. Now we have at least one more day of pounding up top.
