Well, our brave little David made it through his first shots today. He was so good. He cried a little while he was getting the shots, but other than that he was pretty calm. It went much better than I thought it would.
Here are the stats:
Weight: 14lb 8oz (95th percentile)
Height: 24.5in (90th percentile)
Head: 39cm (50th percentile)
Yes, he is growing so fast his head can’t keep up. Our doctor also pointed out that David was making crawling motions when lying on his tummy. Aaah! – our house isn’t ready. Hopefully we have a few months to prepare.
Another milestone:
Last night I was watching David, who was intently looking at his hands. It was fascinating to watch him grab at the loop on his play mat. He was so serious. He watched his hand as he kept grabbing the loop then letting go, then grabbing it again and letting go. He doesn’t really understand it yet, but he had a short moment of discovery last night.
