David has learned to count to 3. He can almost count to 4 when counting the wheels on his car, but gets stuck on 3.
David has also learned to build (instead of destroy). He received 3 different kinds of building blocks for Christmas and loves them all. He has alphabet blocks - which he uses more for the alphabet than building. Then he has a set of 16 giant cardboard bricks - he LOVES those. Then he has a set of 200 multi-colored and -shaped building blocks. He can't do much with those by himself, but loves helping us build things. I think Matt and I get just about as much out of the blocks as he does.
Papazee!!!
David loves "papazee mok" (or strawberry milk). It took me a while to figure out to what he was referring, and now I catch myself calling it "papazee" milk. Matt keeps correcting me, "it's strawberry - he'll never learn if we repeat him." Oh, okay. Now it is just habit.

Not to contradict your wonderful husband (because he truly is wonderful!), but they do eventually learn to say words correctly, even if you keep calling vegetables "jubbaloes" and fish "shish" and dinosaurs "saur-saurs" and dessert "buzzert." And it's a very bittersweet day when they do! :) :)
