The State Fair

It was an interesting day at the Minnesota State Fair. We didn't expect it to be so COLD - a sign that fall is coming. So we listened to the 80-something degree forecast, only to find out later it was for the southern metro. Here we dressed little David in a tank and shorts ... and it was a steamy hot ... 60 degrees (or something). So as soon as we got to the fair we set out to find him warmer clothes. Thankfully the U of M building had this cute baby sweats outfit.

Other than ducking into a shelter everytime it rained, we had a pretty good time. David was great all day. Okay, so his hunger had bad timing. Everytime we wanted to see something live, we had to duck out to find a place to nurse. By the way, the state fair has special accomodations for nursing families.

David was so happy to get some floor time when we got home, he managed to find his way under his favorite chair. Thankfully it had a very professional refinishing job, because we have not been able to find any nails or sharp areas under the chair or ottoman.
