Tonight we got together with friends Jay and Allison, and their new daughter Autumn who is just 3 months older than David. David and Autumn had fun smiling at each other, and it was so cute when they reached out to hold hands - aaahh. It was so much fun to see all that Autumn was doing and look forward to what David will soon be doing.
Now for the bad news
Matt had noticed a bad smell in the basement earlier this week, but we dismissed it thinking it was the cat - ooops. When the smell traveled into more of the house, he investigated further. What he found was rusty water filling the furnace room, and it leaked out onto our basement carpet. What now? We don't even know what it is from. It might be the air, or the furnace, or both, or neither, maybe a leaky pipe? For now everything is staying off - including the AC.
