It turned out to be an adventurous weekend. I arrived at the reserve center on Saturday morning to find out that Matt was supposed to be drilling as well. So I called Matt at 6:15 in the morning to let him know that his unit was drilling. Ah - so out came the phone as we tried to find someone to watch David. Thankfully Todd and Sonja were up to the task, even though they were already watching their nephew for the weekend. Matt made it to drill, and David survived his first day (and weekend) with a babysitter. Thanks Todd and Sonja!
So Many New Things
David is growing ... and learning. He has learned how to turn on his musical toys, spin around in his excer-saucer, and intentionally grab things he wants. He still struggles a little with the grabbing, but his coordination has improved dramatically within the past week. His activity center is great! It is supposed to be for 4 months and up, but David loves to stand. We put a small blanket around him for support, and he does pretty well.
