Catching Up

It has been a long week. Last week we went down to Southeast Minnesota for my Great Grandma Britson's funeral in - get this - Loony Valley. The Loony Valley Church is this cute little country church nestled along a hill about 10 miles from Houston. Now I am left with a great memory of my Great Grandma from last Christmas. My Grandma Kragness had given her a doll for Christmas, and it was so cute how she held it and hugged it.

We made it back to the cities just in time for drill the next morning. Yes, it was another weekend that both Matt and I had to drill. Thankfully my Dad and Val were able to watch David. We were a little nervous as first, as David as been getting a little clingy, but it went really well.

Little Trouble

David still loves going under the chair, but lately he has been getting stuck. He crawls underneath on his stomach, then can't push himself up because a chair is on top of him. He lets us know right away.

Do you know what your kids are into?

David is into books. We recently set up David's books on a little shelf in the living room. He loves it because they are low enough to get into. We caught him recently - notice the look on his face when we found him. He was so proud of himself.
