A Big Appetite

We had hoped feeding David solids yesterday would help him sleep better last night. Not so. He only woke up about 6 times throughout the night - ah, when will it end? He was quite hungry at breakfast this morning - he ate all of his cereal! He really loves it. In fact, now if we are eating he things he should too. Oh oh. Right now we want to make sure he has a smooth transition to solids, so we are only giving him cereal once a day. Does anyone know when we should increase his solids to twice a day?

Can't you wait for those wonderful smelling diapers? With our experience, we gave Makayla cereal in the morning and then solids for lunch & dinner with bottles in between and with meal. Our pediatrician said not to worry about food allergies because sometimes the child will not be affected right away. The only thing we held off on was meats. She would eat a jar of veggies and then a half jar of fruit, plus bottle. But waking up 6 times a night is a lot, maybe try and give him cereal before bedtime? I guess Makayla was on formula at four months, I wonder if that could have been more filling for her. Good luck!
