Okay - so it wasn't the big adventure that backpacking up north in 0-degree weather would have been. However, we did have a wonderful family day at the Minnesota Zoo. David was amazing. He behaved so well, ate like a big kid, and had a great time! He loved every minute of it, especially the monorail trip. We told him he could ride on a train, which he then couldn't stop talking about. We needed this family time, so it was probably good we didn't go away and leave David behind.
