I can't believe I forgot about the dress. Two days before the ball I was talking to a friend who asked about my dress. What dress? Ooops. Thankfully I happened to find a beautiful floor-length dress the local consignment shop for only $15. And from there, everything seemed to fall into place. David spent the evening at a friends (thanks Sandy!) while Matt and I went to the Northland Inn for the ball. It was really fancy - almost more so than prom. Most women there looked like they must have had their hair professionally done. It turned out to be a wonderful evening with wonderful food and fun discussions with other Navy wives. I can't wait to do it again next year.
