My friend Kari, my sister brooke, and I all headed to Lake Maria State Park to enjoy the beautiful fall colors this weekend.
We hiked in to a cute little remote cabin back in the park. It was amazing! The cabin was across a little bridge with a lake on both sides. During the night a Beaver taunted us, often sneaking up within feet of our site. Eventually we just ignored it, though his occasional tail slap sometimes startled me.
I was pleasantly surprised to see some color still left in the trees, making the trip even better.
