We spent an entire day in Rocky Mountain National Park. David did remarkably well, even though he had already spent two days in the car. We broke it up by taking several little stops and hikes.
We took this 9-mile single lane dirt road up through the park. It was a bit scary, but well worth it. Best of all, we avoided the crowds.
At the top of the mountain, it was too cold to eat outside, so we had a "picnic" in the backseat. David loved it! I think he was most excited to have someone sitting in the backseat with him.
