Sometimes I just don't get it. David loved going to the beach on Saturday. So today after his nap, I asked him, "do you want to go to the beach?" He answered, "nope - stay here and play cars." So I let him play cars for a half an hour, then asked again. But no - he still wanted to stay home and play cars. What's up with that? How can a kid turn down the beach?
So this afternoon I finally convinced him to take a walk to the pond.
The ducks weren't interested in the bread we brought, so David took it upon himself to make sure it didn't go to waste.
David found some flowers to sniff - unfortunately he also picked a couple of them ...
... and picked at them.
