David and I had a wonderful picnic at the Coon Rapids Dam today.
We started out on the Hennepin County side (the FREE side), then walked across the dam.
Then we walked to the picnic grounds on the Anoka County side, where we ate our lunch.
David was bound and determined to find the playground, so we kept walking.
We finally arrived at the playground where David made some friends and totally wore himself out. And then we had to walk all the way back, with our overall walk totaling 2 miles. Not bad for a three-year-old, especially since he didn't complain about it once!
